Mrs. Laura Youngs

I am so excited to be teaching grade 4 at CES again this year! I’ve been teaching since 2009 and have had the opportunity to teach grades 4 through 9.

I grew up in Calgary but moved to Carstairs with my family in 2000, and I love being part of this wonderful community. At home, I’m kept busy with my two boys, our two dogs, and even a pet duck! When I’m not at school, you can usually find me gardening, golfing, reading, or enjoying a good cup of coffee.

One of my favorite parts of teaching is taking kids outside to learn, explore, and connect with the world around them. I’m really looking forward to an exciting year ahead and feel privileged to spend it learning and growing with your children.
